At Panania Childcare Centre and Panania Preschool-Kindergarten, we believe childhood should be treasured. For over 80 years combined, these two early learning services have given children the freedom to imagine, create, explore and become.
At the heart of everything we do is Samsala: the joyful, loving child. Curious, imaginative, connected and filled with possibility. It's the childhood we hope for every child in our care, and it guides how we care for them, day after day.

Panania Child Care Centre

Panania Child Care Centre is a small boutique long day care and preschool that has been providing loving, quality care for over 25 years.
We are a passionate, family owned and operated service caring for only 39 children from birth to 5 years. Because our numbers are small, we really get to know our families and children. Babies are held and cherished, toddlers are given time to explore, and older children are free to imagine and create. Together, they grow up as part of one warm community.
Panania Preschool-Kindergarten
Preschool and kindergarten · 2 to 5 years · 36 children
Panania Preschool-Kindergarten has been part of the local Panania community for over 55 years, providing quality, loving care to generations of families.
Caring for only 36 children from 2 to 5 years, we are a passionate, family owned and operated service. In this small setting, children have the space to wonder, play and build the confidence they need for the years ahead, and we take the time to get to know every child and family.

For Kara, early childhood education has always been about far more than care — it is about honouring childhood.
As an owner and educator, Kara believes every child deserves to grow within a small, nurturing environment where they are deeply known, genuinely loved and given the freedom to discover who they are. Her belief in the importance of authentic connection is the heart behind Panania's vision, its philosophy and its values of Love, Family, Courage and Spirituality.
Inspired by the wonder of childhood and principles reflected in Steiner education, Kara values an unhurried approach where imagination, creativity, nature, beauty, belonging and wonder are protected and celebrated. She believes quality is found in creating a childhood where children feel safe, valued, deeply connected and free to express who they are — giving them the space to wonder, explore and flourish in their own unique way.
